Business Competition Success Continues

MOVING UP: Shane Whitely in Yr 11 (third from the left) taking part in the network for Teaching Young Entrepreneurs Project.

We are very proud of Shane and his business success – he has shown a real commitment to the project and a determination to succeed.

He took part in mock interviews and learned about the job application process through a variety of events. He participated in employability skills workshops.’ I thoroughly enjoyed the Dragons' Den style project’, says Shane – ‘I learnt to pitch ideas for a social campaign to support a local charity.’

Serge Corel, chief executive officer, said: "It is so important that we reach out to young people before they leave school, as we can give them the skills they need to build a successful future.
