This term we have received some fantastic news. Norwood School has been ranked 5th best school in England for progress from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 out of over nearly 4,000 schools.

This is a superb achievement as it means that whatever the child’s starting point, Norwood School makes a terrific difference. A letter this week from Nick Gibb, the Secretary of State for Education praised our work and congratulated us on being in the top 100 schools for sustained improvement for two successive years.

No other secondary school in Lambeth is in the top 100 schools for progress or can boast of this success!

The importance we place on ensuring that our curriculum is innovative and engaging, that every child is supported and challenged to fulfil their potential is ensuring the continuing success of Norwood School in its journey to outstanding. Our new building with its exciting specialist facilities can only enhance our provision and environment.
