    Published 18/08/22

Co Head teachers Ms Clemenger and Mr Cole with some of our Sixth form students today.

Today is a happy and successful day for Year 13 students, parents and staff at The Norwood School.

We are particularly pleased with the number of students able to progress to their first choice FE destinations having secured the grades they needed. These included an increased number of students gaining places at Russell Group universities and well renowned conservatoires and drama schools. Overall, 85% of  A level students gained A*-C grades and our Vocational courses gained 100% pass rate.

  • Exceptional Basketball Success

    Published 01/04/22

This week has been an exceptional week for the Norwood Basketball Academy. Starting with our trip to Manchester, being the only School taking 32 students to watch and support one of our own, Juelz Robinson. Juelz, one of the most exciting players to watch in the finals, attended Norwood School Year 7 to 13, currently plays for one of the top Basketball Academies in the country, Myerscough College, which competed in the finals of the Elite Academy Basketball League (EABL). Our students also got the chance to watch the battles between two powerhouses in the Women's Elite Academy Basketball League (WEABL) Finals and the Academy Basketball League (ABL) Finals. This was an invaluable, aspirational trip for our boys and girls. Thank you to all the teachers that enable our students to attend.
