Forest Hill based Karen Arthur visited the A Level Textiles class recently. Primarily a bespoke tailor specialising in colour and pattern including African prints,  Karen spoke about her particular interest in creating one-off heritage pieces to be cherished and passed down from generation to generation and the importance of using your clothes to celebrate your body shape and your uniqueness, the power of clothing to help maintain a positive mental equilibrium.
