  • Grenfell Tower - Own Clothes Day Wednesday 19th July

    Thank you to everyone for their generosity  - buying or making cakes for the bake sale in aid of the victims and survivors of the recent Grenfell Tower Disaster. A special mention must go to Mr Wolstenholme for his marvellous 'Minion' creation that went to the highest bidder in the auction.  We managed to raise over £375 and are looking forward to topping that total up at the end of term with an 'Own Clothes Day' - please give generously - at least £1 per student for the privilege  of wearing your own clothes on the last day, Wednesday 19th July.             (School will close at 12:40pm) Our very own Mr Jones' family, is one of the many who have sadly been affected by these tragic events. Here, below, he speaks to the BBC soon after the tragedy occurred and then to all of us here at school who have been thinking of him.

  • Artsweek Important Information

    Letters and timetables distributed to all students today. All group lists, timetables etc shared under News and Events - then Trips and Events tab on website. Please read the information given to studens carefully. Letters about arrangements and timings of trips to the seaside on Thursday will be distributed on Tuesday in form time - and everything will be displayed clearly for the students on the lower corridor.

    Please ensure that you have returned your permission slips asap.

    The whole school production of Romeo and Juliet takes place on Thursday 13th July at 7pm and Tuesday 18th July at 4pm and 7pm.
