Year 11
Overall, results are positive and have improved compared to 2019 (2023 GCSE are benchmarked to pre-pandemic 2019 grades) and in certain subjects improved from 2022.

 

Headlines

66% of students achieved standard passes at grades 9-4 in English and Maths compared to 53% in 2019

41% of students achieved strong passes at grades 9-5 in English and Maths compared to 31% in 2019

We celebrate a significant improvement in standard passes in Maths of 71% compared to 53% in 2019.

 In 16 subjects, one in five students achieved grade 7-9 grades, whilst in 10 subjects 1 in every 3 student achieved grade 7- 9.

Approximately 1 in 6 students (16.3%) achieved an Attainment 8 grade of at least 70 (average grade 7)

In our performing arts specialism subjects 76% and 69% of entries were graded distinctions in Acting and Dance respectively.

 

 Year 13

 Headlines for A level subjects:

24% of all A level entries were graded A or A* up from 15% in 2019

57% A*-B was achieved in 2023 compared to 41% in 2019

 82% A*-C compared favourably with 75% in 2019.

 

 For our vocational subjects:

53% of grades were Distinction or Distinction*

89% of grades achieved were Merits and above.

100% of all grades were Distinction* - Pass

Most students were successful in securing their first choice university or apprenticeship places.

Destinations of students include many competitive universities and conservatoires as follows: Oxford University, Imperial College, UCL, King’s College, Warwick, Nottingham, Exeter, Bristol, LAMBDA, Italia Conti amongst others.
