We believe it is vital that parents are involved with their child’s education as we understand the positive impact this can have on their learning and progress. We communicate regularly with parents through the school newsletter and hold parents’ evenings and events throughout the year, where they are invited to discuss their child’s progress and raise any concerns with tutors.
We have an open door policy and our staff are always happy to talk with parents about their child’s education, and offer support and advice where necessary. If you would like to arrange a meeting with your child’s form tutor, please contact them via email or phone 0208 670 9382.

Transition
We understand that a child’s move to secondary school can be a daunting time for both themselves and their parents. We have therefore developed a comprehensive transition programme designed to make the transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible. This programme has been running successfully for a number of years and has seen many Year 7s starting school in September feeling comfortable and familiar with the school.
Having a static Head of Year 7 enables us to build positive relationships with our partner primary schools and allows us to get to know our future students before they start in Year 7. Many of our current students and their parents site our transition programme as being a major support in making the move to secondary school much easier than expected.
