Thank you so much to all our visitors who joined faculties to our Advancing Equality and Diversity in Further Education and Employment Careers Fair.

We understand that considerable progress has been made in improving access to higher education, but we remain concerned about the wide gaps in participation that remain for some of our disadvantaged or underrepresented students. We are also acutely aware that school closures resulting from the pandemic are expected to exacerbate inequalities and widen the existing attainment gap between disadvantaged children and their peers.

We targetted institutions, businesses, universities and colleges to actively support us as a school to help us build confidence and raise awareness and expectations of future opportunities for all our students.

We welcomed a really wide variety of providers, Universities, Apprenticeship Providers, Colleges, Schools and employers who spoke to students throughout the day.  Feedback from both students and visitors was overwhelmingly positive. It was great to overhear such inspiring conversations between the mentors, ambassadors and advisers. Thank you too, to those parents who joined to support their children in the afternoon.

University of West London - Thank you for your lovely email. It was great to meet you and your students yesterday at your careers fair.  It certainly is great to be back to in person events again. We look forward to supporting your students at other careers events in the future, and we wish them all the very best with their studies and university applications this year. 

Regeneration Brainery - Thank you for hosting us for the day. It was great to meet all of the students and they were all very engaging and enthusiastic about their futures. We would love to come back to the school soon and deliver a Bootcamp for the year 11s and Sixth Form students to give them a unique insight into the world of the property industry.

Connectr - Thank you very much for the welcome to your school and inviting us to your careers event. We absolutely loved connecting with your young students.
