The Norwood School

Trip to Iceland

In February half-term, our students had the opportunity to travel to Iceland to see some of the Geography they had been studying in school, for real, in person.

It was a fantastic trip where students saw some amazing sites such as the Skogafoss Waterfall, the Blue Lagoon and incredible Black Sand Beach at Reynisfjara.

The pupils showed excellent resolve in the freezing temperatures and made the Geography Department proud answering questions in the Lava Centre!

Thank you to Mr Swan adn Ms Maxwell for organising what was such a once in a lifetime experience.
