Mia in Yr 9 attended the BSL Bill rally in London last Friday. Her mum emailed to let us know how great the day had been.... 

Just to say that Friday​ was brilliant and Mia represented Norwood with impact! She has learnt more sign Language and I think that she wants to write a little something for the school Newsletter on Diversity - a topic I know you discuss in assemblies.  

 BSL has been accepted for the 3rd reading to take place in June. I am not sure if there are any pupils with hearing aids or others that may have Deaf family members, but it's just a wonderful thing to share xx
