As part of the Level 3 training The Trainees were equipped with the skills needed for more challenging roads and traffic situations.

The training was be delivered in small groups, so it could be tailored to the trainee’s individual needs. The training was delivered by qualified and experienced Lead and Co Instructors from CycleConfident. Students learnt about route planning is also got practical advice on their school commute.

Students have been very positive about the training - it has encouraged independence, confidence, fitness and has increased the uptake of cycling among our pupils, providing an active start and end to the school day as well as  reducing some congestion around the school gates!
