We also had a bake sale today to help raise much needed funds. 

Ester in Yr 7, said, 'it just seemed like the right thing to do', she not only donated a huge bag of women's sanitary ware, batteries, thick socks, hot water bottles etc but baked these wonderful 'poo' cupcakes last night with her friend Pearl. They certainly brought a much-needed smile to our faces!

And below,  a very kind message from Arthur's mum, who contacted us last week to ask for our support.

Thank you once again for organising a collection for Ukrainian refugees. 

Thank you to everyone who has donated. I didn't expect that so many people would  respond to my appeal and I am so grateful for their kindness.

Thank you to the staff who helped me to carry all the donations to my car, that was quite a challenge. Huge thank you to Liz, who was very supportive and reassuring.

All donations are now at the collection centre. After being sorted and packed it will be sent to Ukraine ASAP where volunteers will distribute it between people who need it.

I would like to wish all of you peace. May none of you ever feel that horror и despair that the Ukrainian people are going through at the moment.
