Covid 19 Testing and Vaccination Consent
Covid twice weekly testing
Please ensure your child continues to test twice a week and report the result to the NHS website. With cases rising it is key to helping reduce spread. Remember that some people can be asymptomatic but positive, therefore testing will help pick this up and increase safety of others in the family. If your child tests positive, book a PCR test to confirm and inform the school.
Start of Spring Term Arrangements 2022
In accordance with the most recent guidance to schools, we have made arrangements to test students prior to their return in January.
Students will be required onsite to take an LFD test as follows, please see attachment below.
If your child’s lateral flow test is negative, then they will be able to continue to come to school as normal.
Anyone who is symptomatic with COVID symptoms should not attend school for testing and should arrange a PCR test.
If your child tests positive on a lateral flow we will inform you. In accordance with the most recent government guidance, they will need to book a PCR test. If the result comes back negative, then they can return to school. If it is positive, they will be instructed to isolate themselves for 10 days. Those who have been in close contact will be encouraged to take PCR tests.
